T9 arrived.
I should have known better (after reading this forum).
It only took seconds to do something - lets say "not very clever".....
One hour later i learned how to "undo".....

As Rainer wrote "many steps" i think now it's time for some testing....

My T9 arrived today. :D
As I was discarding the larger shipping box something just barely caught my eye. :?
Is it possible to lose something in shipping ?

Such as? of course it's possible to lose something in transit. Happens quite often actually. Something out of a box wrapped as wrapped these things were... Less likely, but still possible. Mine came wrapped in a grey dingy looking industrial type paper towel, stuffed in fibers that make a mess where a key was, in box held shut with a rubber band, in lots of bubble wrap, with a sealed envelope, in a bigger box taped shut with packing tape, wrapped in paper of the same design as the little box on the inside's cover.

I still have the thing that caught me eye. In my rush to see the new toy I emptied the contents of the T9 box into the shipping box. I unwrapped the grey cloth and tossed that into the shipping box too. I'm just lucky I didn't toss the shipping box out emptying the foam peanuts first.

Mine had the same piece separated. Put it where it goes and see if you can remove it on your own!

Mine was in place when arrived. I won't do it myself because the note said not to but I imagine enough sharp blows might loosen something.

There is definitely a piece that can become loose in transit that shouldn't be loose. My T9 also had the same issue upon arrival. I confirmed with Rainer that it should simply be put back where it pretty obviously belongs. No harm done other than to give you a bit of a slight hint as to what one (of many) of the tricks are. As indicated on the slip included with the lock, no shaking, etc. is required. But I guess the postal services don't know that. ;)

I'd be surprised if it was actually shaking that caused it to come out giving all the packaging designed to keep it from any sudden impacts. Maybe it was more of a rapid change in altitude?
