Not soon enough? I don't think there's much news on that front.

Rainer advised me he was working on T10 and hoping to have it available before the end of the year.

Considering the amount of work required in designing and manufacturing these locks completely from scratch, it's hardly surprising that there is a significant gap between productions.

Please also note that he does this in his spare time for fun. He has a demanding job and he is not a puzzle maker and produces nothing other than the Popplock. We are lucky to see these items as and when they become available.

I'd be super tempted if it was a T1 so I could complete my collection. I keep hoping Rainer will make a second production run of the T1's but so far no luck.

He's been asked a number of times by a number of people and to my knowledge the answer is always no. I'm almost certain that the only way anyone will get one is when an existing one comes up for sale... but, knowing how few there are, and the kind of people who have them, I think you're actually waiting for someone to die. I also believe that the last T1 sold for around eight to ten times the cost of the T2 currently on paradise.

TL;DR: I gave up all hope of ever owning a T1 a while ago. You should too.
