I find all of that hard to follow:
I signed up for the news letter in november 2018. Sometimes I get the newsletter, sometimes I don’t, apparently.
What kind of email database does Wil have that makes me signed up ‘some of the time’?

I am still looking for an aluminium cross, but I have no idea if Wil will ever have it back in stock.

Thanks for the heads up!
I have been quite obsessively checking that website for a long time now, but hadn’t seen this yet. Awesome!

Well, it happens for many people. It's just that Wil Strijbos is not very organized and can sometimes delete you from the newsletter (weird when knowing that the more people he has on it, the more money he can make). But it's been more than one year he has not released anything new. So you're not missing anything so far ;)

I've heard Wil travels a lot so maybe that's the reason he sometimes doesn't have time to answer all of his emails. I last corresponded with him about 2 weeks ago when I inquired about the availability of "The Wanderer". He had a few left in stock so I bought one from him.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
I sent Will an email some time after my last response in this thread, and got a quick reply from him. Unfortunately he had only puzzles that I already own (or am not interested in) in stock.
Now let’s hope I am back on the list again. Like most of us, I am a big fan of his work.

That is a great set Aldan! Should be a lot of fun (or frustration).

I am new to the board by the way. I recently got into mechanical puzzles, actually because of Wil Strijbos. :) I owned a set of the three dovetail cubes for a while (these aren't really puzzles imo), but I sold them a while ago, ..which I regret now!

I was already in Wil's mailing list, so this year I decided to order the First Cylinder and Lotus from him. And as you may understand I'm hooked now, so there is probably more to follow :) I just bought the Revenge Lock/Wanderer as well (also in Aldan's picture), but it's lying here for 2 weeks already waiting for my birthday (which is tomorrow), as it is a birthday gift from my wife. Quite some self-control needed to not open it already (!)

So with the First Cylinder, Lotus and Revenge Lock/Wanderer to start with, which would be your next suggestion? I have the luck to live in The Netherlands, so the puzzles I ordered from Wil were delivered the next day (he ships fast!)
I really love the looks of the Egg, but the First Box and Aluminium Cross intrigue me as well. Which one of those three would give most puzzling fun you think? (including after opening it for the first time, to play around with again and again)

PS I have to confess I do not own a Revomaze (yet), so I'm not sure if I'm actually legal here  but I'm sure that after some Strijbos purchases a Revomaze will follow (as they look great as well, which I value very much in a mechanical puzzle)
