Happened to me too once. I had to use an external tool to proceed. Gotta be careful with that one, It'l eat tools pretty good. I love the puzzle but it's lacking a few safeguards against this type of thing.

i got them out , with a paperclip i already removed the washer, but now i have tools that i dont know what to do with them..

Ive solved my lotus! Very great puzzle. It was pretty frustrating and fun, too short though IMHO. Definitely worth the price, its a true piece of art.. Also, it seems i got the same problem as Kevin with a burped thingy
