Yea, things are a little different here..
You get back what you lost and that's it, hence the file a claim remark... You got your money back? Great! You're done. Makes sense to me. Anything past that is up to the government or insurance to deal with unless you want to sue someone yourself. This does not require a lawyer but it seems to help drastically statistically.

Go internationally and it just gets worse. But by all means go at it?

Awesome news Peter. In the future...PayPal should be able to help you in cases of fraud if you buy a consumer product outside of the friends and family service they provide...meaning a fee is charged. Also I believe most credit cards will reimburse for fraud. I would not send cash directly to a retailer...esp internationally... that I dont trust.

Really if you are that distraught go to your bank and file fraud. Done.
Why so confrontational? Here’s a thought: This is in a thread called “SonicWarp Puzzles”; it is an active thread and community.

Maybe some of us are not as versed with the business model SonicWarp uses and my be upset when we learn something about them from, you know, other posters on this ACTIVE thread.

So, are you an employee of SonicWarp, friends with the owner, or do you really have nothing to add without being snarky and insulting?

... I offered help it was rebuffed
That was a response, on an open forum

I work in the USA so take a guess...

Some people love to cry open forum until it doesn't go their way...

I told him to get a refund.... how does that help sonic exactly? Yea...

Cheers

Edit: nice pot stirring btw. I see nothing of substance in your post contributing here
