I was able to order a DanLock also. Don't know when it'll arrive.

I ended up getting it solved finally! I was on the right track for quite awhile, but the last move is a bit touchy. Even now that I can repeat the solution easily, occasionally the last move hangs me up for a bit. So that's the advice I'd have for this puzzle. If you get a spark of inspiration, try it out multiple times just to be sure.bluedot99 wrote:Am at the same spot as you Brian706... need the last step of the reset process to finish it, and I agree the unlock and first reset step were pretty straightforward. I've found a few interesting things that are surely part of the final step, but can't implement them yet... All this while I wait for my gold to come back!

They look nearly identical, as they are modified from the same padlock. The difference is that Model B has a significant extra final step in order to solve the puzzle. In this respect Model B is simply an advancement of design on Model A.Kirk2000 wrote:Are the differences between the Model "A" and "B" very noticeable? I have never seen a Model "A" Danlock. Anyone have a photo of one? KIRK
