Okay, Thanks.

I've never played with any of the lock puzzles so I wasn't sure. I've been looking to get one sometime soon and was just wondering if this would be a good one to start on.

If memory serves, it usually runs around USD$100, which is very good for a good puzzle lock (for comparison, Puzzlemaster.ca sells popplocks, when they are in stock, for $199.99-$399.99 canadian). I haven't gotten into the lock puzzles either, but they do look interesting :)

The DanLock is definitely one of the best (if not the best) puzzle lock out there. I know that it's my favourite by far.

If you haven't already you can check out my review of the DanLock here:

The Danlock is a lot of fun. I borrowed ceagull's a while back and finally returned it (only took me two hours to solve, but six months to return it . . .). It shouldn't take a really long time to solve it, but it has some handsome tricks up its sleeve that really make you think. I do have to say though that one of those falls somewhere between a "gotcha" and a warning to never stop observing.

:D :D :D :D

Danlock received this afternoon! What a great puzzle! Marvellous quality with 1 minor aha moment and another 2 or 3 major ones!

Took me about 2 hours of active puzzling plus an hour of thinking whilst watching TV. A real feeling of achievement when solved - not up to the bronze or silver revomaze but definitely a good one to challenge friends with.

Once I have challenged a few people with it, I will write a review on my blog.

I feel rather dumb - this is my first puzzle lock and I'm just not having any luck with it at all. Been about 4 or so hours of poking and prodding at it.

It's a matter of thinking and realizing that nothing is impossible then think some more. it really is a great puzzle. I really want a Poplock by the way.

The Poplocks are brilliant pieces of engineering in the form of a puzzle lock
The danlock is an amazing lock " in the raw" with the twist of a superb engineered finale
These two pitched against each other would have equal admiration from true puzzlers!
