Is the Kuku any good? It looks so funky I just want one, but it doesn't look like it would be entertaining enough to be worth the money. :?:

if the internal coin was metal, i'd say i'd be worth it... it looks simple and interesting though. some are rediculously easy, some rediculously hard... its a gamble.

I hear theres the simple one, and once you open it you can buy/add a "third pin", making it harder.

Well my Danlock 'B' arrived today, and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. Lovely puzzle, incredibly well made, and such a nice puzzle work with, that I keep going back and re-opening it. (or really re-closing it as opening is the easy part).

Glad to have this one in the collection.

Ooooh! I look forward to that! :D
you speak at if the Copernisis was supposed to be fun.
It looks nice enough and the mechanism is nice but IMHO the puzzle side of it isn't up to much. Unless you have internet access (granted that that's pretty much a given these days, but I believe something sold as a mechanical puzzle should be provided with all the information needed to solve it in the box) then the puzzle is unsolvable unless you cheat... which everybody up until a week or so ago must have done because the numbers provided on the website which you need to put into the equation have been wrong. I and a number of others have also had planets fall off :|

It's a pretty neat little puzzle, if you have the cash then I'd say get one. If you're a seasoned puzzler then you'll more likely than not solve it the day you get it. The difficulty of it depends on how many internal "locks" is provided with and how well it was anodised. Mine wasn't anodised properly so there was a sticky residue left on the interfaces between the pieces which meant I had to use two sets of feeler gauges to gently widen the gaps between the pieces... after I got it open I used some spray on autosol to remove the gunk... it's works well now but the colours are all a little lighter as it also removed the excess anodising stuff. To be fair, I haven't heard of anyone with this problem recently.

I had an email from Dan the other day too... Dan lock is on it's way to me now :D

I just got hold of a couple of really nice puzzles by Vinco for my collection. Anyone who's interested can see them on my Flickr page here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/puzzleobsessed/

I'll put reviews for them on my blog in due course.

Also I'll be taking them along to the MPP for people to have a puzzle over. :)

ended up getting my perplexus today. Took a crack at it, this is a beautiful piece of work. Cant wait to actuallly complete it rather than getting lost not knowing where to go next.

"So you mean it already happened?"

sorry guys, already happened to me.

Got lost on 29, and did not know where 30 was, turns out i was on 30 and couldnt find 31.
