Two things, I just ordered from him to the US and no there wasn't any Customs Duty. Second, not sure how much you are spending compared to how much the Customs Duty is, but I would pay for the Customs Duty. It would suck to lose all those puzzles, and I know "what are the chances" but I imagine somewhat higher than normal this time of year with everyone shipping things like crazy for the holidays. Just my thoughts.

Apparently he said that there isn't any Customs Duty on puzzles imported into America-land anywho, so that's why you didn't get charged.

Im making a bulk order totalling approx. 665 AUD, which is approx. £430 and approx. $690 ;)

It would suck to lose the puzzles and especially that amount of money, but he says he's never had any problems with other large/expensive orders to the UK and he's been doing it for over 10-15 years.

I guess it would be pretty crazy this time of year, so they'll either be a bit more lenient/lazy or much more strict/cautious. but he's not shipping any until the 7th of January and mine until the end of January, when he's made me a Mega Six ;)

Thanks for the comments but I think I'll chance it and put my faith in the postal service ;) :?

Poor Rich! (pun intended)
That's going to take days to put back together ... no wait, it's Rich ... that's going to take about 15 minutes indeed.

Great bunch of sticks Rich, have fun with them, and let us know when you have built the Eiffel tower which can be constructed from all these pieces plus a Sear-ious burr.
