Wil's first Aluminum Cylinder and his Alu Cross are a few of my favorite puzzles. They are not only ingenious puzzles, they are wonderfully machined. Will wrote: Well, has money to buy either:
1) Aluminum / Washer Cylinder+Aluminum Cross+Peppermint Twist+(possibly)Tritalon
or:
2) The First Box at the moment.
Btw, regarding Iwahiro's AlCyl, it took me longer to unravel Wil's packaging than it took to open the cylinder. Nonetheless, the quality, construction, and heft of it left me impressed. I suppose if you think of it as a Magic Billet Box, you won't be disappointed.

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!
I agree with RevoD...while the quality of the Alcyl is pretty outstanding (love the blue anodising), the puzzle really wasn't much of a challenge...got it opened in less than a minute...but like Oli says, it wasn't $450 like the T7....RevoD wrote:Wil's first Aluminum Cylinder and his Alu Cross are a few of my favorite puzzles. Re: Wil Strijbos!!!
I had another go at the "First Box" today. I opened it, and then worked out how to lock it up again . Repeat solves are easy and reliable. It is really well made. Another good puzzle from Wil.
