Best sequential discovery puzzle?
Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
A good sequential discovery puzzle (a) is not obvious for the next step but (b) gives you a hint and (c) stumps you for a while and (d) has a unique solution whether in terms of design or implementation.

I also admit that I like sequential discovery puzzles with false moves that feel like progress but lead you to resetting the puzzle :p.
And I consider it a major flaw when you can go the wrong way and permanently brick your puzzle.

I agree, but if you go wrong it, indeed, needs to lead you to the beginning or a step back. Otherwise they can be almost frustrating.maztec wrote:I also admit that I like sequential discovery puzzles with false moves that feel like progress but lead you to resetting the puzzle :p.
