My puzzles came in last week. I've opened the dovetails, the cross and the Al cylinder. So far so good.

The cylinder took awhile and I opened it today. This cylinder has five BB's in it. Is that the same as everyone else's ? Also my cylinder is scribed with Wil's signature and a upper case V on the cap. I guess he's not using serial numbers on these any more.

I've got three left. The lotus, 1st box and the angel box. I've only been able to scratch the surface of the first box, but nothing with the other two. I think I'll fumble with the lotus next.

I'm pretty sure mine only had 4... ? Also, mine had Wil's signature and the number 01 on the top.

Yeah, nice puzzle, though I still prefer the cross! :)

Lotus Update:
I've liberated the washer and bolt from the main body of the puzzle.
The next task appears to be removing the coin.
It looks like I have everything I need to do this. When I try to do the obvious, nothing happens.

Well, duh!!! What else is new.

Don't try too hard. Sometimes you don't need to go all the way. :)

I have to say that I'm not totally sure why it's called lotus. I do have an inkling about the pin and how it relates to the name.

At this point I can still hear more than one thingy inside the body of the puzzle.

I'd like to be able to separate the dovetail pieces but I'm not sure if doing this is part of the puzzle.

Considering what previous posters have said it seems like there is still at least one more thing to do. Unlike the nail, disc and coin, it's not clear what I'm supposed to solve other than taking the dovetail apart.
