I started the cylinder but then got silver back and have been working on that. I'm contemplating ordering the washer cylinder or one of the dovetails.

I like the dovetails because the seem impossible but ultimately their solution is not as impossible as they seem. The cylinder is giving me a panic because I think I've been too rough on it and it's lack of movement concerns me.

I'd contact Wil. I did read something about them locking up and spraying WD-40 in them but dont quote me on that.

Im going to order something within the next day or so. Is one dovetail better than the other?

The best guidance I can give with out spoiling everything is that the two dovetails are mirror images of each other. What you do to one you do the opposite to the other.

Crisis averted. When it moves and it shouldn't use duck tape. When it sticks instead of sliding use WD-40!

Congrats, I just completed that same hat trick of puzzle myself. Good luck with the remaining two.

washer cylinder! dovetail puzzles tend to be rather simple, id say they are not so much puzzles as just ''impossible'' objects!!
