I thought rather than nag Chris all the time on the status of my CE delivery that perhaps we could have it here as a sticky to let everyone who ordered one know how it was all going.

I ordered one. #20 of course. and it looks beautiful sitting on the shelf!

not my shelf of course because, well it hasn't been released yet. but one day...

Chris has informed me that the CE's are about a month away .....

I am getting my nickel set made up though ...
The gold one is going to be sent to me unmade.
So maybe he will just ship me the nickel ... it's all very confusing.

I think you will have to wait until the competition is over to get the full set.

yeah i figure it will just be the maps, the gold and maybe certificates that wont be shipped unless you asked for the set to be assembled in which case it will just be maps that arent posted as the only thing that could affect the competition is the revealing of the gold's secrets.

I have just spoken to Chris and I think there may have been a slight misunderstanding regarding the release date of the CE Set. Whilst he would love to get them out within a reasonable timeframe, its release IS dependent on someone solving the gold first, proving the solve, Chris obtaining the appropriate case for the set (he has had a number of quotes for this and is well down the line on this), getting the gold plating tested and approved, making and testing the Titanium and adding other items in there (ie booklet).

This is likely to take longer than 1 month and Chris will announce a release date when all the above have been achieved.

In the meantime I think Chris is organising something for ezamover so that he may get his hands on a set of puzzles before this time.
