i would have it shipped home between users if i where you.
inspect,announce it is ready,receive shipping payment,ship.
just an idea.....
im sure the next user will inspect it for damage from the previous user to avoid damage fees...but honesty will be required.
if it comes home then you can determine its condition.

i do not have to be 3rd....i am working on the gold,so there is time.
put me on the list in the most convenient spot.

I've added the extra conditions you suggested!

And I've put in a penalty of £10 per week late fees. do you think that is reasonable?
Paradox wrote:I would suggest that rather than doing it in a solely first-come-first-served order you should take into the account the location of each person wanting to borrow it.

For example; it would be better to allow the puzzle to do the rounds in the US in one go, rather than making borrowers ship it to and fro for quite a considerable cost.
I think your right there so I've split the list into UK+EU and US+Canada as they are the major locations and the position on the list is determined on a 1st come 1st served basis (but alterations may be made in order to reduce cost of postage)

I think this maybe best as if it did get damaged there could end up being a dispute in who damaged it and as a result who should pay the cost of repair, but shipping from UK to US is rather expensive so maybe we could have someone trust worthy in the US who checks the Ti for damage in between each person and thus reducing the cost of postage.

You could pick someone you trust on each continent for that.

I can't think of one person I trust on each continent. Heck, I can hardly think of 7 people I trust.

I would not be too good at that. Needs someone to be in the house when it arrives or you will get the dreaded card

Also i am new in the forum, i'd like to offer my TI after receiving and solving it.
The conditions seem to be fair.
I'd like to serve in Europe because i live in Germany.

I think 10 pound ($15USD) seems rather fair.

That is kind of you. I'm not yet sure how I feel about loaning my collection out, but might at some point after opening the Ti, cover the North American users. If I dont loan mine out, since i already own a CE, I dont mind being the puzzle librarian for you out here Rich. All my puzzles come here to my work and are protected. once the next person pays for shipping online, they can email me the shipping label and it can go out the same day.

this whole thread is great for friends and all that but for revomaze?....the titanium is the "push" for the sales on the sets....
the more i think of it ,the more i wonder if Revomaster isnt grinding his teeth reading this thread.
if i want to try a titanium bad enough i will order the set, yes?.
In the business sense of things, its kinda uncool.

(thats from me,not chris...and remember -ordering a set or borrowing one is my only hope of trying one as the titanium has not been offered to me for testing)

just a point to ponder and discuss, not trying to get anybody upset!

Well thats a good point, but it promotes sales as well. Say I get the revo, I do not solve it, it is sent to next person. I want to crack it so I save up and buy the set.

@cornettracing80

That is a very good point and tbh i hadnt though about it like that but just as a way for people who have bought the main series puzzles but who cant afford to buy the CE set to have a play with the Ti. Maybe another condition should be that you own all main series 1 puzzles?

Also if Revomaster has any issues with this thread I welcome him to voice them because after all Revomaze is his livelyhood!!
