That was my thinking too.

If it was me I would go for nickle. That means it can be used if wanted, looks better (in my opinion), and slightly cheaper.

In your position, I'd agree, getting the Nickel plated version makes more sense. I've already bought all five of the V1's, so for me it would just be duplicating what I already have.

But when you own the whole set in nickel already you your not buying the ce set for use its for display purpose only and if you dont need 2 sets in nickel!

I originally ordered nickel to use them, then couldn't wait, ordered them all separately anyway, so changed to gold. Like others have said, if you've already got nickel, why not go gold

you get two Ti's one plated and one unplated

Well for display I would go gold. I would still want a nickle set though

I'm curious which numbered sets are left; PM'd chris but no answer. Anyone know who might know?
