Welcome to the nut house! It's amazing how quickly this bug catches on. You may want to consider the Collectors Edition this late in the game. It may, in fact, be cheaper than purchasing the individual puzzles + you get a Titanium! If you want to go that route, you can probably call Chris Pitt and cancel your individual orders -or- ship them back to him in the unopened boxes.

All the best,
Matt

The individual puzzles are on order from puzzle master, not Chris. I'm not sure which would be less expensive. At this point I'd have to return the ones that are on their way and will have paid shipping each way to and from Canada.

Another issue is that PM doesn't carry the Gold or Ti puzzles. Not that I'm in any way ready for those, but you're right that the set is the only way to get the Ti version. I get the feeling that the collectors set is close to $1K USD. If so, it may not be worth it. The 4 extremes are $550 USD from PM. Is the going price for the gold and Ti together worth ~$450?

At current exchange rates I work it out to be $885.36, not including delivery.

...well it will be some time.

You may want to get the Bronze and/or Silver to do this year.

I don't think anyone has ordered a CE set without first solving a metal Revo. Remember the CE set comes open with all the maps - there would not be much a challenge there for you.

well i have requested the puzzles to come assembled and when it does come ill be giving the box to my dad to open so that if there not assembled i wont glimpse the solutions and he will be taking the maps and locking them away in is safe so i will get to solve them properly :D and i cant really afford to buy anymore puzzles i am a full time student in university atm and cant find a part time job anywhere so money is pretty tight thats why i ordered the CE so that i get them all in one plus the titanium :P and if i get the money i will order an ornge if there not sold out

Stigy wrote:You can request it closed, as the others have said, as a cheap(er) way of getting them all. Don't start counting the days though. My estimated time line goes something like this:
  • Gold Release
  • Handmade Release
  • Gold Solved
  • Orange Release
  • Live Event
  • Titanium Design
  • CE Release
Even if I haven't missed anything in there, which I probably have, you're not going to be receiving your case full of precious any time soon.
why does the titanium design come so late on? i would have thought it would be ready to go once the gold has been solved??

but surely the only reason for postponing the release of the ce is for the gold to be officially solved?
