I never expected the competition to happen in vegas and london. That was a pipe dream for sure. However, I completely agree that leaving it to chance is not cool. I'm glad that at least two of the puzzles are going to guys who deserve it. The lotto is a cop-out.... not that I ever really expected a competition to happen.... :roll:

I had my transparencies scanned and ready to go in photoshop. I was expecting ONLY the gold map, so when I saw all of them, I was quite shocked. Anyway, my method was simple. - Import into Gimp (faster the photoshop) - turn white background to transparent. - save as PNG - repeat for all images. - th...

If the beginning of a Ramisis G2 is like an Isis then they really changed the puzzle. The instructions for the original Ramisis specifically states not to do that as it could damage the puzzle. You may also want to design in a "back door" release mechanism for the clear sleeve in case it gets stuck in some way. I'm not familiar with all the engineering that went in to designing the original revo sleeve, but in case the spring and pin aren't exactly the same, the puzzle might beco...
