Re: CE delivery status thread

Great to see Goliath! I've been drooling over him for years! I've spent a fortune on puzzles over the last few years but he's out of my price range! :( I'm really pleased to see the CE sets being sent out, it would be good to know that more than just 1 has been sent! As for the spring, that will be ...

Re: Puzzlemad - Kev1n's puzzle blog!

No! Not my birthday!! My blog is 2 years old today - 175 posts and 138,500 page views in that ti...

MPP9 - Saturday 9th Feb 2013

So what you're saying Kevin is that you all talk a lot of hot air at MPP? :ugeek:  Everyone knows I'm full of it!! It always amazes me that people continue to think of me as a real puzzler!  I have just had a full on catharsis and spilled the beans about how terrible I am at puz...

Don't worry Graham! Oskar's blocks are glued and back to shape. Functioning perfectly now and you can't even see a join!

It is very odd how the change in temperature and humidity in that room made quite a few wooden puzzles almost unusable in just a few hours. They are all fine now!

Had a fantastic time as usual! Got my puzzlebox fix so I don't need to buy any myself for a while longer.

Thanks Nigel for arranging a fantastic day and thanks guys for your wit, your company and letting me play with your toys.

As is customary one puzzle needs repair (thanks Graham!)

Ah! I didn't think about the fact that a revo isn't made of ferrous metal! Oops! That would mean it could be taken into the room and put in the machine. BUT I would need a certificate attesting to the non-ferrous nature of it signed by BOTH God and the Devil before a radiographer would let me throug...

Unfortunately X-rays are no use for revos because they take a 3d space and project it onto a 2D plane. A revo just looks like a solid bar inside a sleeve which is effectively what it is. As for doing a CT scan - I haven't done this because time on one of these machines is hard to get but mainly beca...
