Re: Orange Competition

I spent about 10 hours at work trying to draw just the first corner which I ended up scrapping completely. This is going to take a while. I'm also loving every second of the design process.

Re: Orange Competition

I've started actually putting some ideas down on paper. Mostly all I have are individual components that I want to include but they are hard to integrate into a fluid finished map that would be fun to solve.

Re: Orange Competition

Will we have access to the tricks that make the Bronze/Silver/Gold so unique? Seems like it might be a bit of a spoiler if some of them are in the design rules.

Re: Orange Competition

Getting very close to the start date, anyone else as excited for this as I am? :D. Hopefully once the winner is chosen the rest of us can show off some of our ideas to see what kind of stuff the community can come up with if given the chance.

Re: Red Devil has landed!!!!

My red extreme just arrived along with a black obsession. It's a shame I'm going to solve the bronze before attempting either. May take a while :P

Re: Orange design?

How long do we have to preorder to enter the contest? I just ordered a red extreme and black obsession so want to save before ordering it if I can.

Why are the puzzles cooled?

Hello all,

I'm sure there is a reason that would be readily apparent if I actually went and put my puzzles in the fridge, but why are the puzzles for the live event cooled?

Re: does "mapping" actually help?

I solved the green one about an hour or so ago and general mapping helped. Mostly I wrote down the shape of the traps (to scale as much as I could), I found it better to know where I can't go instead of where I could.
