Crucial? I would disagree, I only mapped a small part of the Silver, all other mazes I solved without any mapping at all. I find repeating sections until you know them really well is the best method. However if you do feel the need to map the blue, accuracy is not essential. Really you can get away ...

Katie is solved! What a wonderful puzzle, anyone on here who is waiting on one, you will not be dissapointed!

I can't say much or post pictures of the final open door as it would give away some of the mechanism.
