Re: New Release

But that (first come first serve) was also only an assumption right? Could also be that it wasn't Chris' intention to do it this way, but things went wrong and happened in the wrong order (unintended lack of communication before putting it up for sale) due to whatever reason (corona?). And @pewetool...

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

Butterfly lock is now on Puzzle paradise (not mine and I don't know the seller). Looking at the current prize (€1751) I'm not bidding myself unfortunately.

Re: Problem opening V3 core (grub screw stripped)!

Just a small update. I received the screwdriver from RevoHQ today, and it DID work. I really hadn't expected that to be honest. So there is indeed more difference in tools than I expected.

I got my first certificate out today! Thanks to RevoHQ for the support and quick shipment.

Re: Problem opening V3 core (grub screw stripped)!

I have no problem with this new design, as long as the screw is strong enough and does not get stripped so easily. I'm pretty sure that poviding an allen key with the puzzle wouldn't have made a difference in my case. I do have a good quality allen key and 1.5mm hex screwdriver, but when the screw i...

Re: Problem opening V3 core (grub screw stripped)!

Get a small flat blade screwdriver that's thin enough to fit into the top of the screw. Find a place where it seems to grip, and see if that's enough leverage to loosed the screw. Some Loctite to help the screwdriver blade friction would help, too. Thanks for your response. Actually that is exactly...

Problem opening V3 core (grub screw stripped)!

Hi all, Help! :!: I solved my first Revomaze recently (V3 Blue). Now I want to open the core to collect the certificate, but I can't unscrew the grub screw as it slips, it seems stripped! First I tried with a 1,5mm Allen key, and even bought me a 1.5mm Hex Screwdriver today (like the one on the Revo...

Re: Training Aid

Ah, I just bought my first Revomazes (Blue and Bronze) and after an hour of fiddling with the Blue I already regret not ordering a Training Aid along with the Revomazes. Not that it is already uncomfortable or that my fingers hurt or anything, but I can really imagine this Aid being a welcome additi...

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

PS I have to confess I do not own a Revomaze (yet), so I'm not sure if I'm actually legal here  but I'm sure that after some Strijbos purchases a Revomaze will follow (as they look great as well, which I value very much in a mechanical puzzle) One of us! One of us! I can guarantee yo...
