I prefer the color silver before gold so I would. =) But just for arguments sake, why nickel instead of gold? // M Gold is a softer metal than nickel, so I would expect the appearance of the core would be better preserved by nickel plating, especially if you haven't opened these puzzles before. Wabbit.. Just remember all the puzzles for the CE don't come come assembeled... Knowing the puzzle looks like / whats in it will make the puzzles all much easier... Then there is two (2) options. 1. It's cheap and they are hard to find. I have only seen one and that is the one my great great grandfather made.
