A black core does sound pretty interesting, what does the sleeve on the mint look like? Is it a sort of satin effect?

I would love to have a gold plated display core, as well as the nickel plated core, but I doubt that would happen because technically I'd guess that would mean that there would be 40 black v2 mazes as opposed to 20? I think gold and black would look incredible, but because I intend to use it I would...

I haven't had a chance to use a brass core yet, I'll be able to give an an opinion after the salmon arrives, but won't the gold playing wear away with use?
