Re: Purple Lottery 2 - Rounds 10 to 19

 I love when people start bantering statistics and probability around :D For the record I have degrees in Engineering and Math, so I fully understand it. And yes the law of averages will come into play and probability curves will form as expected over long periods...but... we are not talking lo...

Re: Purple Lottery 2 - Rounds 10 to 19

mumble, grumble... Congrats to the winners...... Well at least I still got another chance. No offense to the other winners, but I'm really glad to see that one of the original SE people were in the winner circle (err triangle) again! So now the debate, do I sstick with the number that got me t...

Re: Purple Lottery 2 - Rounds 10 to 19

Looking back over the draws, numbers 5, 19, 23, 30, 37, 46 and 48 haven't been drawn. At the start of this set of draws 23 was by far the most popular choice but none of those who remain have it... maybe one to avoid next time! do I get a prize for having a majority of the numbers that have not bee...

Re: Purple Lottery 2 - Rounds 1 to 9

Wish I had know I could change my numbers. Last time I only made it 2 round before being kicked out and I had 15 numbers

Re: Help Decrypt this Clue

Took me little longer than it should have, but I finally cracked it :D
Now that I know the solution, it's obvious that if you are not involved with the hunt you're not going to be able to solve it. The key is in the book. Sadly the clue was something I already knew so it didn't help me at all.

Re: Help Decrypt this Clue

hahah 42? If only :)

Well technically this isn't a clue from the book itself. It's just a hint they posted on their facebook page. So, the unfiction thread that died out 2 years ago probably won't help ;) but good thought!

Just threw this out here, as a diversion from the Gold :P

Help Decrypt this Clue

Ok so I'm working on a game/Treasure Hunt. I believe I can blame Jazz for this one, since I'm pretty sure he pointed it out a long time ago. If you're interested in joining the hunt check out http://www.greathunt.com/ Buy the book and support the cause.... This is the message as posted on their face...

Re: IS red IS 1 black C.....

Put me in line to try the Isis 1C
I came to the party late and missed out on getting that one. I've solved a number of other versions and always wanted to see what the big deal/difference was with the 1C that made it so much harder.

Of course the problem is that I'm not in the UK :(
