Re: Salmon arrived!!!

Yeah, sorry to have to say HQ probably didn’t pack the mazes in the boxes right. Mine was cracked as well, and this is at least the third one I have heard of that was damaged in shipping. My guess is they should have put an extra piece of foam on top of the maze before closing the white box. Now it ...

Re: Salmon arrived!!!

More strange serial nrs in this batch. I believe most have a serial nr in the format SA-xxxxx-SE, but Jack Bauer has serial nr SA00000, Smiteo has serial nr 3.

Re: Reassembly instructions for copper

Draw hole is shallow and a little smaller.
Maze hole is larger and deeper, and it is at the end of the maze’s main ramp.

Draw hole pin goes in rounded side up.
Maze hole pin goes in bevelled, chamfer side up.

Re: Reassembly instructions for copper

I haven’t opened copper yet, but for all other Revos there is a special ‘Open’ section for the specific puzzles. You can get acces to that by asking Shane, Darctangent on this forum (via Private Messages). You can read more info on this here: https://www.revomaze.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t...

Re: What is a V3?

I think they might want to consider nickelplating the current V3 brass mazes for added strength. If indeed the maze deforms too easy with stuff like wall hugging. But then again, there are issues with plating as well sometimes, although I have had no issues with that myself so far. Until now I have ...

Re: What is a V3?

I am getting a little bit confused on the differences between V1 and V3. As I understand it, the new V3 cores are made of a stainless steel body and a brass maze, right? After seeing some pics of what the newer brass cores look like after opening, I get worried that the brass might be too soft for r...
