In the end my question was answered by email by the designer, Boaz Feldman himself. How awesome is that! Pretty good customer service I would say.

Great fun. It’s always great when you have that moment of victory. Then trying to understand why you didn’t see the solution much earlier.

This Danlock is proving quite tricky. A real challenge. A little closer to solving it today...
