Re: Automatic RevoSolver - looking for reasons to make one

Another issue is the power of some stepper motors. If you tell it to go left, it will regardless of whether there is a path.

Aqua-bronze may work with this, but other puzzles need additional modes of movement. Some even need a good horizontal slam to position dynamic elements.

Common problem, especially when you’re gripping the hex at the end of the puzzle. I highly recommend you take lots of breaks to think about what you’ve discovered. You may also want to get a training aid. They help a lot. Take some Advil and put the puzzle down for a few days. :)

Re: New guy advice on 7 set

Go in order of ease. You’ll enjoy the earlier puzzles more that way while learning as you go. I did the bronze first, and I didn’t get as much out of the blue and green as a result.

Cheers!

Re: Buyers and Sellers

Very true. I hope wave gets what he’s asking for, but I want the buyer to be well informed on Red’s history before buying it for that kind of money.

Re: Buyers and Sellers

Knowing what something is worth and what eccentric “collectors” will pay for it are two entirely different things. The Red isn’t much of a puzzle, and buyers should be aware of that before the fork over that kind of money.
