Did some more research. The one I have is only just 4 inches across. I think the one pictured with the box in the link is slightly bigger, 6 inches wide. Either way all the rings on mine work just fine and I'm trying to decide on my favorite 5 letter word to reprogram it with.

I found an excellent supply of these at a store during lunch today. Kind nice, rather heavy cast metal but easily give up the answer because of the slip in the parts. Well I just tied the poll at 7 to 7. Can't understand why you don't want to sell more puzzles. I'd buy one if they were sold separately. FWIW, Star Wars got re-released sooo many times I can't believe that any one ever wanted the first boxed set in the first place.
