Re: Suggestions for what to buy

Same, I have never been charged the vat tax on anything purchased by wil, and even his newsletters explain that there is no vat if ordering from the US. Wil has always been very fair in my dealings with him. I would guess there was just a misunderstanding.

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

I'd agree that the egg is the most interesting to understand. It still confuses me and I've opened it several times. The first box is my favorite out of those 3 though. The aluminum cross isn't very difficult in my opinion but a neat puzzle. Get them all! Lol... If difficulty is your only qualifier,...

Try messaging darctangent or emailing swseward at hotmail dot com. Same person but he usually handles the forum access. He probably just hasn't seen your request but I'm sure he'll get you asap if you contact him directly.

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

I thought part of the Wanderer was putting it back together. Or are you saying that’s a crazy hard challenge? Yeah, putting the wanderer back to it's start is more difficult than opening it, imo. But the first box is pretty much just a quick, easy reset once it's open. You don't have to solve it in...

First box is really good! Took me awhile to figure it out and I couldn't believe how simple it really is. Keep us updated with your progress!

Such a good puzzle! I love the sort of infinite loop of impossibility you get stuck in. Took me awhile to get that last portion.

Re: Sonic games tessarisis puzzle - help

I wrote a program to translate the symbols from a picture to characters and used crude frequency analysis along with a english dictionary to decipher. Was quite a nice little project :D That's a lot fancier than how I do it. I just assign a letter to each symbol then run it through a solver online....

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

I thought I would give the First Box a try, as I needed to give my hands a break in between sessions on Indigo. Yeah right... Think again Brassassin. This is not a puzzle to do ‘on the side’. I think I will put it away, looking pretty on the shelf. This needs my full attention, so it will h...
