Magnetic Puzzles

I am curious as to what your opinions are pro / con
on magnetic puzzles. I am referring to puzzles that
require an outside magnet to solve. Like or dislike?

Re: RevoLUTION Ball Puzzle

Hi Jerry, I think that you have addressed my comments rather succinctly. Not to detract from your thread, however I have built a prototype puzzle also and the only way to get the damn thing open is to use a magnet !!! Thank you again for your thoughts on my initial post and I will be looking forward...

Is it worth the time and cost to try to get a copyright, patent or whatever you need to protect your original creation? I wonder if Willie does anything t...

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

I would appreciate it if someone would be so kind
as to give me Wil's email for my "problem"
and to be added to his subscription list. I would
also like his mailing address, pretty please. :D

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

Hi Rich, Thank you for your advice. I think I will just ship it back to
him and he can do with it what he wants. I would also like to get
on his mailing list so I may purchase other puzzles. Regards, Bill

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

Hi Rich, As I said in my previous post, I let a friend try it out "before I had opened it myself". So, no I had not opened it. And after my friend had given it back to me it was seized up, I could only turn it a little bit clock-wise or counter clock wise. That did nothing, so that' s when...

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

FOR SALE, CHEAP!!! Wil Strijbos Washer Cylinder Puzzle. I ordered a washer cylinder puzzle and let a friend try it out before I had opened it. He proceeded to lock it up so that the cap would not turn. I proceeded(no brain/no pain) to "loosen" it up by putting a cloth on top & base so ...
