Re: Why I stopped with Revomazes
I always thought that there should be a knurled circular end on the Revomase not the hard on your fingers six sided hex.. A round end would be easier to hold on to and you could machine a few slots into it so that a training aid could slip on and help in turning the end therefore, decreasing the str...

Re: What is a V3?
Just a cheaper way to make the mazes with the equipment Chris has. I think he said the old shafts have a Z axis and he cant mill Z with his CNC machine. V3 has three components, the center core and two ends.. Please correct me if I am wrong. There are a few photos floating around. KIRK

Amelia, go get a book on Metallurgy and Rockwell Hardness of metals and Heat Treatment. Ask Chris he probably has one. You will then know what we are talking about with a soft brass core and a hard pin. Just an FYI. Oh, how can you tell a V1 from a V3? Is it visually different on the outside? KIRK

Re: A Revomaze golden ticket game
I actually did something like this with a blue Revo. I replaced the certificate inside with a crisp new $100 bill and left the Revo at my sisters house on the coffee table for my nieces and nephews to solve. We shall see who opens it first. So far no phone call with shouts of joy and happiness findi...

Re: Puzzles For Sale
I love puzzles that are made out of copper. It is a rarely used metal that is so beautiful when antiqued or polished. I have one of Jerry Loo's cylinder #2 puzzles made out of copper and it is beautiful. I wonder how copper holds up on a CNC machine? The next one-off revo that Chris makes maybe he c...

Re: Assembly
Steve, you could always contact Revo HQ and ask them how to inspect all the components to the puzzle, being that it is open, then you can identify any damage that might have occurred without you knowing about it. You wouldn't want to put the puzzle back together and a piece has a burr on it or the p...

Re: Father and Son Dueling Keys
Chris, a lot of time and effort went into making those puzzles.. If you have one that was reserved but not paid for and the person backed out of the transaction please let me know. That puzzle looks very promising. KIRK

Re: Buyers and Sellers
Colorado, get your name on the list at RevoHQ, they used to have one so the people bailing on the V2s could transfer Voyager status quickly to people waiting, it was a long while ago. If they don't have one now, they should for those looking to join in the fun of the V2 puzzles. Inclusion in the Voy...
