Re: Rainer Popp - Popplocks

There is definitely a piece that can become loose in transit that shouldn't be loose. My T9 also had the same issue upon arrival. I confirmed with Rainer that it should simply be put back where it pretty obviously belongs. No harm done other than to give you a bit of a slight hint as to what one (of...

Re: CE Sets

There are definitely some of us waiting for the actual CE set too. My order was placed on September 2, 2012. Not as long as many of you had to wait, but still way too long IMO. I emailed Sophie last week and the reply I received wasn't entirely reassuring. She reported that the issue with the previo...

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

I sent Wil a "How do I order one!?" email shortly after receiving his first email on Angel Box, and then confirmed my interest again Monday morning (in the U.S.) after his second containing the instructions and price. Like many of you, I was concerned I had maybe missed the first round of ...

Re: SonicWarp puzzles

Nope. Read "most" as "most". I opened mine by solving the crazy Andrew math part. Quite enjoyed that bit too. But I know I am in the minority here with respect to that. :)

Re: SonicWarp puzzles

Yes. I own both an original ("Cool Blue") Isis and an Isis Extreme. From the halfway point onward, the solution is different (somewhat) and definitely more difficult to execute.

Re: SonicWarp puzzles

Agreed. I think the spherical shape of the Isis is a big factor in the layperson's fascination with it. And the hieroglyphics rings. People just love to pick it up and turn those rings. Little do they know... But this is the whole pageantry aspect that I feel SW/SG is particularly good at. I'v...

Re: SonicWarp puzzles

I'm not an experienced puzzler yet, so take my opinion for what is worth. I.e. nearly nothing. But I have a positive opinion of the SW/SG puzzles. It was the Isis, actually, that sucked me into the whole puzzling vortex - including the Revomaze. :) Overall I thought the Isis was pretty fun. I think ...

Re: Barcared

Anyway we can help Chris? I'm new around here... I solved my first Revo (a Blue V1) about two months ago. Almost went for a Green V1 at that point, but after some emails exchanged with Chris (ReVoMaster), I opted for a nickel platted collector set to insure eventual access to a complete set of the ...

Re: Titanium & CE Discussion

But then I realized this was probably my one and only chance to get my hands on a Gold too. Well. So much for that theory. I was under the impression that the initial set of 250 individual Gold puzzles was sold out and everyone was just waiting for all batches to be delivered. Seems I was mistaken,...

Re: Titanium & CE Discussion

Sure. I understand, of course, that the cost/benefit calculation is different for someone who already has a large collection of Revomazes. In that case, the Titanium is clearly the big draw. It makes good business sense for Chris to include an exclusive puzzle in the CE set in order to increase the ...
