While dissapointing, it's also very relieving. Maybe I'll have enough extra time to both solve the Silver and design a decent Orange.

I haven't been following the Orange competition because of school but did create a map a few months ago. Is it too late to submit it?

I'll admit, the prospect of Gold plated mazes sounds pretty tempting. In the event they are still available several months from now when I get my tax return I might even consider it for the Titanium and the other collector stuff it comes with.

Anyone know how many sets are still available?

It's a shame probably only the first batch will have the special system. I've made it to the canyon in Silver and beaten the others. This is an interesting experience as I'm learning the limitations of maze design (particularly the "don't cross the streams" related problems) but once a problem is worked out I can suddenly imagine new things I can do because of how the solution worked. There seems to be a flow of ideas b...
