I figured I would throw this on here before going to ebay.

Anyone interested in Red Extreme 91?
I will include the certificate if i can find it. I likely don't have the original box, yet to be determined.

As for the puzzle itself, it is in great shape. The core has no flaking. Some very minor dings on the sleeve. I can provide pictures if you would like.

PM me an offer.

Pre-Lauch
Blue Extreme Core

Chris has asked me to post regarding an auction on one of three pre-launch machined Revomaze Blue Extremes to come off the line. With a design just above Revomaze 1, these puzzles are the only Blue Extremes of their kind, and were produced prior to the modifications found in the currently available Blue Extremes that everyone here has in their collection. These three puzzles are pre-launch with a unique design, and can be distinguished from the current Blue puzzles.

As we are changing engineers, this will be a nice addition to any collection and certainly one of the rarest Revomazes out there giving a new meaning to "Limited Editions"!

One of these puzzles will be put up for auction by Chris Pitt (ReVoMaster) on e-bay following the Gadget Show Live for anyone interested in adding to their collection!

More to come following the GSL!

Most cool. Will the other 2 remain with Chris in the RevoTravellingMuseum?

That's the impression I got, although the listing may contain more information. I'd love to know which odd Revos he has packed away. I wonder if he has test cores...cores with one or a few features to test out an idea. I wonder if he wakes up in the middle of the night and goes to his lathe with a design idea.

Hmm, interesting...

As matt said, there are three of these cores (note: we're only talking about a core here, no sleeve, pins or draw). They were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th mazes to be produced (REVOMAZE 1 being the first). They are not handmade, they were they first set of test mazes off the machines - they are bare brass/unplated. Interestingly they are also shorter than a standard maze (the hex nut part on either end isn't as long a a standard maze) - a standard core is 150mm in length, these are only 100mm. They have no serial nor the flat area where the serial would be written.

The one that Chris intends to sell is the 4th. The 2nd & 3rd will not become available.

It may be very special, but it won't come with a coin :P

Just an FYI. The maze has been sold. Keeping it in the family, sold to a member of the forums.
