Midlands Puzzle Party Saturday 5th February 2011

Post by Barcared »

As we now have significant numbers of members, especially in the midlands region of the UK I thought I would organise the first MPP (Midlands Puzzle Party) on Saturday 05/02/11.

Anyone is welcome even if you live outside of the Midlands but would be prepared to travel. The more the merrier!

We will meet around 10:30 and finish around 16:00 and have a pub lunch in the middle.

The idea is to bring along your favourite/most interesting puzzles and share puzzle experiences as well as some RevoMaze chat of course!

Puzzles can be mechanical, interlocking, packing, exotic Japanese etc etc.

It will be a chance to meet like-minded people, play with puzzles you've always wanted to have a go at and have a bit of fun!

I can confirm that Chris (bluesign2k), Allard (allardwza) and myself will be there and I will invite Chris Pitt along but physical distance may make that impossible.

The venue will depend on numbers that are interested but will probably be either South Birmingham (Allard has kindly offered the use of his abode!) or Leamington Spa.

Please post to this topic if you are interested and we will confirm exact details nearer the event.

Nigel

Special Guest: Chris Pitt (ReVoMaster)

Confirmed attendees:
  • Barcared
  • allardwza
  • bluesign2k
  • illusion_fx
  • Alimorris
  • Paradox
  • a-maze-ing
  • KB64

I would indeed be very interested in attending!

It would be nice to put some names to faces.

(And try to get someone drunk enough to give me the solution to the Bronze)

 You can get me drunk if you like but then there's no hope of me being able to open the bronze!!!

Allard will give you 2 clues:
- Think!
- Map!

Chris will be very cryptic:
- May you follow the blind path that leads to the light!

Are you sure you want to come?
