Just got a 14.33!!!! 8-) 8-) :D
I now officially want a SUB-10. I'm going to start "revo-ing" on camera so I can catch it.

OPEN CHALLENGE:
The First one to get a SUB-10 on tape wins!

Wins what? Exactly.

On a side note, I wonder how fast I have to be to get a purple?Hmm I wonder......

I only practice on my metal puzzle as I like the feel more. It takes a little while to re-adjust to the plastic.

Ours are for the plastics. I prefer them to the metals, they don't hurt your hands as much!

I assume the main competition will ONLY be on metal... :)
I don't have the blue or green obsessions, so I'll have to tough it out...

And my blue time is way slower than those posted - I'm lucky to get under a minute :) I need more practice...

Maybe it's just me but the metal takes me a little longer. 19.7 on the blue obsession and 23.2 on the blue extreme are my personal bests. I remember seeing the master do it in under a min on YouTube a long while ago and thinking how the heck am I going to do that! Funny how all of us including Chris can do it so fast now. I've also opened mine with just my left hand once. Any one have a helpful tip on how to hold it in your left to make it easier?

The obsessions get (a lot) faster the more you play with them. A new one feels *very* different from a used one. The ones we used at GSL were fast to start off with because they'd all been used but by the end of the Saturday they were even faster.

It's not a bad thing though, I like to think it develops with the user.

Incidentally, I managed 15s on a blue at GSL, although you'll have to take my word as there's no video proof... I should really look at finding a way of recording my opening attempts.

I can do it much faster on the Plastic than metal. When going fast the first area before you go into the maze I fall off 8/10 times on the metal and 0/10 on the plastic.

I have a significantly harder time with the Obsessions. I seem to be in the minority, but the feel of them actually anoys me. They just feel too small in my hands for some reason.

i hav to side with walther, that drop near the beginning of blue, i can only imagine how hard it is as extreme due to the lack of ability to grip the side parts well enough. takes a little extra second or so to make sure not to fall off. but truth be told, i have yet to try the extreme blue. cant wait till a few years from now till i buy the multiples of those i have as obsessions by that time, but in extreme
