Glad to read you are having so much fun with these.
I too have quite a number of Will’s puzzles. They are all of the highest quality, and they have all taught me (also an inexperienced puzzler) something.
At the moment, besides a growing number of Revo’s, a little collection of Hanayama puzzles, and four puzzle locks, most of my puzzle budget is spent on Strijbos puzzles. All worth it.
I haven’t dared to start on the Pachinko Box yet, but just holding it in my hands, and inspecting it from all sides gives me all the assurance I need that it is money well spent. What a work of art this is.
I especially like the little windows and lookthroughs that seem to give a hint of what’s going on inside, but in the same time don’t give anything away (at first glance at least).

I solved my Pachinko Box today
Fantastic puzzle, the engineering is really excellent. Each stage sets up the next, I had a ton of fun with it.
I had a question for Wil after solving it, concerning one of the inspirations he mentioned in the newsletter and he shortly replied after. Such a great guy

He was sold out by the time he replied to me for everything but the 4 piece puzzle, so I guess it will be a year or two until I get a new chance for the pachinko box.
At least I have a few to enjoy for the time being.
I finally got open the two dovetail cubes. Turns out I had the right move to open it, I just failed the execution. It will be fun to show them to friends and family to see if that can spark an interest!

Just been quoted 760 Euro for a Pachinko box by Wil...
Seems the price may have gone up from what Ive seen paid previously..?
Although I'm probably going to bite anyway

Seems that way. I paid the same amount.
It is a lot of money, but it's an excellent puzzle I am glad that I bought it

That was the price in the last news letter indeed. I'm sure you'll be able to sell it for (at least) the same price once you want to part from it again.

PS I have to confess I do not own a Revomaze (yet), so I'm not sure if I'm actually legal here
but I'm sure that after some Strijbos purchases a Revomaze will follow (as they look great as well, which I value very much in a mechanical puzzle)
One of us! One of us!
I can guarantee you that you will love the Revomazes
Ha, yesterday I ordered my first set! Blue and bronze. Should keep me busy for quite a while.
Guess I should move from the Strijbos topic to other parts of the forum now.

I ordered some nice puzzles through Will, including Casino. Such a nice packing puzzle!
